We need a dedicated support worker to assist a young adult with learning disabilities. The role involves promoting life skills, supporting them in their hobbies and interests, and helping them to become more independent. Experience in a similar role is preferred.

Duties include:

Eating and drinking assistanceOther relevant duties as requiredTransportationGardening

Candidate qualities:

Able to both follow instructions and work on own initiativeFit and healthy to undertake the required dutiesAble to speak and read English to a reasonable standardHappy to work in a smoking environment

Experience with learning disabilities,

Good sense of humour,

Clear communication,

A person nearer to her age with knowledge of the local area.

Additional requirements

Non-smoker preferred or someone willing to refrain from smoking during working hours
